Teresa Walker is the Founder and Lead Teacher at Tree Sprites, as well as Director of SF Bay Area LifeWays North America. Tree Sprites began as a dream rooted in her reverence for childhood and love of rhythm, storytelling, and nature. After opening Tree Sprites in 2010, she stepped away to homeschool her own children, returning in 2016 with renewed vision and devotion.

With over 20 years of experience, Teresa brings warmth, wisdom, and a deep commitment to nurturing spaces where children grow in their own time. She has completed both the Waldorf Teacher Training and the LifeWays Early Childhood Certification and now mentors educators and parents through her leadership at LifeWays.

Teresa’s work emphasizes the value of rhythm, handwork, and nature connection in early childhood, blending pedagogical expertise with an intuitive understanding of children’s needs. Through her presence at Tree Sprites and LifeWays, Teresa continues to shape spaces where childhood unfolds with wonder, joy, and care.

Todd’s journey began in architecture and design, but a love for creativity, nature, and human growth soon led him down a new path. After traveling through Asia documenting cultural traditions, he returned home to complete a design degree and build a thriving creative studio.

Over the next two decades, his work evolved — moving from design and marketing into transformational coaching and early childhood education. In 2020, Todd joined the Tree Sprites Family, bringing his passion for rhythm, nature, and conscious connection to support young children in their most formative years.

Blending insights from Waldorf education, nature-based learning, and Transformational NLP, he helps create a space where wonder, security, and imagination can flourish.

Kacia has grown up surrounded by the rhythm, warmth, and wonder of early childhood. Raised on the land where TreeSprites blossomed, she spent her earliest years helping alongside her mom and playing with the children who would one day become her students.

Now a beloved assistant at TreeSprites, Kacia brings a deep, intuitive care for the young ones in her charge. She has completed the Lifeways Early Childhood Training and will begin her formal Early Childhood Education studies next year. Whether leading a game, sharing a gentle story, or holding the littlest ones in her lap, Kacia’s presence is calm, joyful, and full of heart. Her natural connection to babies and young children shines in every moment she spends with them.
